Hi Guys
Waiting for my Haynes Roadster body to be delivered so thought I would panel the interior.
My question is should I use 0.9 mm or 1.2 mm aluminium, I would prefer 0.9mm but what to be sure it will be suitable.
Thanks in advance.
Dave
Hi mate
Think most people use 1.2 that's what I'll be using when I get there ☺
What body work supplier you using?
Garf
Bear in mind if your propshaft lets go a thicker metal would be safer. Or fit a prop catcher.

I'd only be worried about it flexing and kinking with 0.9 when its kicked or lent on.

Prop catchers would best of your worried about it letting go, 0.3mm of alloy isn't gonna make much differance to 2kgs of spinning steel.
TAB Dan.
Im putting on prop catcher and 1.0mm ally composite its plastic on both sides available in loads of colours form a lad on here
realy light stuff it is too
