Although I just found, whilst waxoyling mine the brace across the front of the engine bay hasn't been welded properly and looks like the bottom of the tube hasn't been welded. Still I guess I'll just have to pay a visit to get it welded post SVA.

so is 4-6 weeks about right as i need to work out a day when i can borrow one of the trucks at work, also are there any good books on building or shall i just keep reading the threads on here

just keep reading and posting on here, there are loads of locost guru's (you know who you are boys ).
Oh and there's the build manual .Thats another story.

Good luck! I would like to offer encouragement, but my experience has been utter frustration (not MK!!). There are more of you over there, so you will have more help close by than I have.

going bec 2003/4/5 ish R1 once i save a little more cash ill be calling malc
