I have a 14" deep fuel cell and want to use stock Hayabusa instruments. Does anyone know how to either use the bike fuel sender (the cell is foam filled) or any other sender that will work? (150 ohms full, 0 ohms empty, not common for North American cars.) I had a Westfield Eleven in the late eighties with a 5 gallon tank and was always running out of gas. Adding a fuel sender for a Smiths gauge was simple and solved the problem.

I'm faced with a similar issue. As long as you have a tall enough tank, the correct dimensions for the pump's bolt pattern and a good seal (rubber o-ring or gasket), it should work.
I'm going to cut out the tank flange from a gixer 1000 or busa gas tank and make my own using the stock pump/sender and gauges

if your fuel tank is foam filled then i dont think you will be able to use the busa fuel sender as its the float type,,maybe try using an r1 sender,its a sensor that brings on a light when the fuel has reached a certain level,not sure if it can be done its just an idea
