I used the proper E-Glass which seems to last well - 2 years and 15K miles so far.

Razma, I am looking for recommendations as to what you pack the E-glass into?

What exhaust can do you have?

Try these

http://www.aa16.co.uk/a16exhaustparts.htm

or

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Exhaust-Baffle-Packing-Motorcycle_W0QQitemZ370052122328QQihZ024QQcategoryZ10464QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Dont pack it too tightly or it will be noisy as hell

There is this one from Car Builder Solutions:

I had a Simpson 7" x 29" repackable can made up a couple of years back, a little heavy compared to some but it does the job with regards to silencing. Not the cheapest either at ~£250 but its a top quality piece of kit, as good as Ive seen at any price.

If I were in your shoes, it would be Simpson or Procomp for me:
