Hey all.

I have finally got the car on the road, and its far too stiff.

I have no idea what springs are on it, all I know is the suspension are SPAX RSX.

Any ideas on good spring rates for the road, spirited driving, and some track use.

Basically at the moment its far too stiff.

standard setup is 180lbs front and 130lbs rear.
normally you can see spring rate on the the top of the spring but you need to extract it (sorry for bad english )

Ive heard that the standard fury setup is too soft. (One extreme to the other).

Mines an R1 engine, if that makes a difference

My bec Fury (live axle) have F200 R180.
not too soft for track but i can't imagine road run with this setup.

Mine are 210 front and 180 rear. I like it; It if anything, it could do with being stiffer at the back as it can bottom out when 2up on big bumps.

It's an R1 car weighing in around 550kg with me on board. I've got Gaz shocks (I mnight splash out on some Protecs some day) and they started out fully off on the adjusters but are now turned up about 1/3. It's also on 13" wheels and has Wilwood brakes all around which must have some influence on the ride.

The standard springs were 180f/130r (same on Strikers) but there has been a number who've swiched to 210f/180r (only needs 2 new springs) and they've reported an improvement. Seems the reports are the same for both CEC and BEC.

I've got a set of 180's that came with the car. Not sure what's on it at the moment. Just need to find a decent suspension place in Lincoln.

Another vote for fitting the original 180 from the front to the rears - and upping the fronts (mine runs 220 fronts as thats what I got from someone on here )
