very tidy but you need an angle on one of the Uj,s,10 degrees i think so the shaft isnt strainght from the rack to the wheel. 
ignore that,seen the angle now.

As you have a collapsible lower section in the Sierra column (triangular bit) the angle shouldn't be needed.

It would be interesting to hear the collectives opinion on the collapsible part. The UJ is only an inch from the bearing holder so will it
collapse?
Or is this a mute point as the footwell would have to collapse as well which would help stop the wheel or column hitting the driver?
That layout is almost identical to mine in virtually every respect, and it passed SVA (it was a while ago!) without comment.
You have a slight offset in the linkages, a sliding joint (the triangular bit just in front of the bulkhead), and the collapsing steering column, so
you've covered the requirements in 3 ways.

Because you can't fully judge what the tester will say I would lift the bulkhead bearing a bit giving more angle on the uj just for the test

heres a link to the iva manual, i am at the same stage with my steering pretty much the same. there is a comment about welding the tube to join the
lower and upper , it should be pinned as well as welded. i put two roll pins through as well as welding
am at similar stage of build and also have a shortened/welded steering column similar to op's....hizzi could you point me to where the bit about pinning welded tubes is mentioned in the iva manual as couldn't spot it....much appreciated, cheers.

i fitted a roll pin top and bottom of my extension tube , they were about 2mm , someone posted on the haynes forum they failed for not having pins as well as the welding, not sure if that was the rule or just that particular testers opinion but its easy to do now rather than later
