DS Lite Flash Card
stevebubs - 9/11/08 at 01:51 AM

Right.

I'm tired of my daughter losing her DS Cards down the back of the Sofa.

I understand that there are cards around that take flash and allow you to load all her games onto it

This would alleviate her losing it as she won't have to take it out.

So...given there seem to be loads on the market, which one should I go for.....?

I'd recommend the TTDS card as that's the only one I've used

I've ordered a few from Hong Kong for family and friends, with no problems (apart from customs....) whatsoever. All games work and at the moment my son's has 50 or so games on a 2Gb card.

If you U2U my brother "RoadkillUK" the last I heard he had 2 cards due to being let down by the lass he ordered 'em for

As I said - there's a few to choose from...clicky

So recommendations on which one to go for are sought...

I've bought 20+ from Mobey Memory and never had a problem.

I've used the TTDS, M3DS Real, R4DS and the M3DS Simply

Go to GBATEMP.NET and read the review section which lists every card released. also you can get the latest system files from there which you will need to periodically as new games are released.

They are all very similar but my favourite was the DS Simply as it had the simplest menu which meant less chance of small fingers messing things up. Unfortunately they replaced it with the DS Real and complicated things a bit.

Oh and you can download themes to customise the menu but again the DS Simply had lots pre done then they replaced it! Use the ALICE theme creator to make your own for the R4 cards for example.

R4 is the most readily available and one of the lowest priced, had several and no probs with any of them.
Cheers,

Having used the R4DS for well over a year without any problems, I'd recommend it.

I did have 2 cards, both were sold on here. Oh hang on .. no they weren't. Two different people on here U2U'ed me and we did a deal. Unfortunately they BOTH neither sent money nor collected the cards. You know who you are people, thanks.

I have sold both locally now.

Sorry for the mini rant, but if you've arranged to buy something, either buy it or let the seller know you are no longer interested.

Doh !!!
Apolgies Roadkill i was one of them and totally fogot all about it. A gentle reminder wouldn't of hurt though at the time rather than a rant now.
Consider my hand severely smacked

I've got 2 R4 cards for my boys.
Amazon is a very good cheap place, about £15 for the R4 and 2gb card and postage.
