I wanted to learn CAD and was directed to a Torrent site from where I have (I think) downloaded the programme.
What I appear to have are two programme files, an Install and an upgrade both of which are shown as ISO files in explorer.
In addition there are 3 other files, a PlanetMaster MSInfo document , a PlanetMaster Full ISO File and a PlanetMaster upgrade ISO file.
Not sure what these other 3 files are for or how to go about installing the actual software.
Any help would be much appreciated.
John.
An ISO file is in a format used by software to write to a DVD/CD.
It can also be read using winrar or winzip.
Yeah, theres basicaly three things you can do with a .iso "image" file.
- Burn it onto a disk using somthing like nero
- Mount it using something like deamon (make the computer think its a disk, in a drive)
- Or else try ang get something to interigate it and get the files from there.
In otherwords, what you have (succesfully) torrented is an image file to create and install disk. Rather than a folder of files to install the program
from.
- Same diffrence, but needs something to make use of the format.

Instead of burning to disc mount on a virtual drive using Daemon
tools
Install program/ double click icon then uyou will see a red lightning in your icon tray. Right click icon, select virtual cd then set number of drives
to 1. Right click again, select virtual cd then Device 0 then mount image.
Browse to your ISO and select. This will then be treated like a normal disc and should auto run.
You may need a key and the keygen will probably be found if you browse the disc from My Computer.
