could someone open a file save in a later version and mail it back to me please! I cant do it !

Clicky. Once installed you should be able to open office 2007 files with 2003

You could also use openoffice, not sure how it compares to msoffice03 but it's newer and saves most formats including pdf. Most important it's free which is as locost as you can get.
