he may have been just a piece of plastic with a wire for a tail but we were very close

amen brother.......

i had a mouse once... i think the cat bought it in. saw it running about my living room one night, tried to catch it, cat wasn't interested so left out a mouse trap and went to bed. next morning got up went about my business, got ready for work, found my coat which i'd left on the sofa, pulled it over my head and came face to face with the mouse
he was sitting in the neck lol

My thoughts are with you John at this very sad time... I will be observing a minutes silence a midnight.....

You will just have to be very brave and buy a new 'Gerald mk2' tomorrow......he will soon settle in and be your new friend...
