I know you can rip CD's to Xbox 360 but i'm having trouble copying MP3 files to the 360's Hard Drive. There seems to be no option to do
this.
Any ideas?
P.S. It's my 10 year old's Xbox!
How are you actually trying to do it? Ripping them from a cd burnt off a computer?
You can plug in quite a few different mp3 players and it will play them straight off that - or a usb stick....
Why not stream them from the PC directly to the Xbox. I do this with movies and it works a treat.
Cheers,
Bob

Apparently you cant rip MP3 directly to the Xbox hard drive without chipping the Xbox and special software.

I have burnt some MP3 files onto disc and the Xbox will play the music quite happily but it wont copy to the HD
My son want's the files to sit on the Xbox's HD.

You can't.
If you want them directly connected then you need a memory stick or external USB h.disk
Alternatively stream them from Windows Media Player....

You cannot rip MP3 files to your xbox as Microsoft have taken the stance that any MP3 file you are trying to transfer is illegal and as such cannot be freely distributed
