Alternative to WMP

Are their any good alternatives to WMP? Iv tried realplayer but its not as easy to use as WMP (you cant even radomise music!)

I use winamp for music (also, spotify)

and media player classic for video.

you guys have got to try vlc player linky

its the best i have used and legit free, will play just about anything without messing with codecs and stuff

VLC works, but I just don't get on with it. more a tool than a player, IMO.

VLC is great but I think KMPlayer is better. Both are free so its worth trying both.

I used to love winamp as it is quite lightweight compared to wmp. It even worked great if you run it on another computer that you rdp to.

I have come across a problem with it on my high spec laptop though. In that when I put the laptop in battery saving mode it runs like a dog, yet wmp still plays fine :-s

I always preferred musicmatch jukebox to wmp...but Yahoo have pulled development

I like Winamp for general use, VLC for picky files and WMP when the idiots who have made the file have used a Microsoft only format....
