I use winamp for music (also, spotify)
and media player classic for video.

player,vlc player,vlc player,vlc player,
you guys have got to try vlc player linky
its the best i have used and legit free, will play just about anything without messing with codecs and stuff
seconded, once you go vlc you never go back.
VLC works, but I just don't get on with it. more a tool than a player, IMO.
VLC is great but I think KMPlayer is better. Both are free so its worth trying both.
I used to love winamp as it is quite lightweight compared to wmp. It even worked great if you run it on another computer that you rdp to.
I have come across a problem with it on my high spec laptop though. In that when I put the laptop in battery saving mode it runs like a dog, yet wmp
still plays fine :-s
I always preferred musicmatch jukebox to wmp...but Yahoo have pulled development
I like Winamp for general use, VLC for picky files and WMP when the idiots who have made the file have used a Microsoft only format....
