cheap microsoft office - where?

I may have posted about this and then may have deleted the post - anyways, I cannot find it right now.

.... but someone posted link to cheap students version of microsoft office; anyone recall where that can be bought?

you can now buy MS Office Home edition for about £100 from any retailer

That is the Student version these days, but PC world isn't the cheapest place to buy it. You can get it for £60

on a slightly different note - licenses.

what is there to prevent someone installing the software on more than one computer? (if there is only 1 license)

home and student version has 3 licences with it, so you can legally install 3 times

You have to activate copies of Office, and if you try and activate it too often, Microsoft will reject the activation and won't give you a code, until you call them to explain, why.

Home version of Office does allow it to be installed on 3 PC legitimately though.

or if you know someone who works for the NHS, they can get a copy for about £13 (if they havent already done so for themselves)
