When I go to a link, my computer keeps throwing up error report and closing down internet conection, is this my computor or a fault? any suggestions.

I am assuming by a link you mean hyperlink - it not then what i have written underneath is not relevant.

Are you using IE, if so what version, is your computer up-to-date with patches etc.

If you are able download google chrome, or firefox and see if it happens with one of those browsers.

If you are having issues downloading one let me know, i will download a setup file, put it on a ftp site so you can download it without the need to go through a web browser etc.
