U2U crashes my Nokia Smart Phone

Right I've got a new fangled 3.5 g smart Nokia 5800 that has full tinterweb. The problem is when I open a U2U it freezes the whole bang shoot.......Has anyone got a clue why this harmless u2u extension would bring the Nokia to a brick like state.......Answers on a post card

I use Firefox on my PC and it did the same - untill the latest update
