Also the Cooler Master Elite 100 is very slim, if you can find one in the UK

If mini-itx motherboards provide enough power for your needs then you can go really small. Not cheap though so only for people who really need super compact systems.

Most of the ITX Chassis will bolt on the back of a FTF screen via the Vesa mount hols.

so they are really compact. but some of the ITX boards wont run the higher end processor because of heat
