Take off all the keys
Clean
And then replace in whatever order you want
Even better to do it to someone else

Mine usually involves;

Spill a pint of beer on carefully onto the (wireless) keyboard so it's just about floating.

Take it into the kitchen and run it under the hot tap.

Let it dry for a while then test it. Realise all the keys are coming out wrong and let it dry some more.

After about two weeks repeat the process.

I've broken so many keyboards trying to get dust and crumbs out from under keys, as above your best of ignoring it till its too much then binning it.

With my older keyboard, I just removed the electronics and soaked the keyboard in a bucket of soapy water. Don't know if it's still possible with the new keyboards.

i have a logitech wireless keyboard, don't think i'll be soaking it in any buckets of water! lol

As a locost version I have got a leaf hoover with a blow mode... that would shift the dust!

As I posted above. Mine has survived at least three such drownings.

Unless its a laptop keyboard just tilt it so all the cr@p falls out, an opened-out paperclip to scoop it all helps too
