depends on the codec, which one is it you need?

If your not sure saying the type of file your trying to play will help - i guess its DIVX?

download CCCP, it has pretty much everything you need

download vlc media player it plays virtuall everything

VLC is full of spyware if you download it from the wrong places - try and get it straight from the developer if you can
