Well, it seems to be recording, according to the lights, but when I connect it to a PC it is not recognised. I've tried with 2 different PCs and
2 different USB cables.
ETA that it seems to charge OK when connceted to the PC via USB: blue light flashing.
Anyone else come across this (and solved it!)?

er, what camera is it?
Sorry - it's one like
these.
Quite a few people have got them, so I was hoping someone might have an answer for me...
Could be the memory card, have you tried a different one?

If you can find drivers anywhere on the web might be worth trying to install them - otherwise I'd recommend seeing if there is some sort of reset
button on the camera - try that then connect again...
...it could just be the USB controller in the camera is kaput
I never did get the drivers to work for mine, or get the pc to recognise it. I found it easiest to use an SD card adaptor and just read the files directly on a card reader.....
Mine has never been recognised as a camera by either of my laptops or desktop.
Although it is fine when recording and downloading to the computer from the SD card
I found the reset button but pressing it doesn't make any difference.
It used to work OK, both as an external USB disk and a webcam.
It looks like the next step is an adapter so I can read the card direct on the 'puter.
Thanks for the replies and suggestions, anyway.

In case anyone's interested, the adapter thingy shows that the camera's working fine.
