borrowed the stepsons laptop as working away and mine gone pop...

but all avatars pics and buttons only show as a red cross...

theres some setting (assuming its IE8 or similar) in tools, internet options, then the advanced tab, theres a tick box in there for displaying pictures. make sure thats ticked/unticked (which ever is correct)

i have unticked it and now i have a little "picture" if that makes sense but not the actual image

just had a look at the mnues and the box says 'show pictures' next to it, so it should be ticked. weird...

have ticked and unticked box

changes it from red cross to a small a small "picture" but still no image

found a button next to the refresh button..

looks like a page torn in half..

ah, interesting. compatability mode's never made a difference for me before. good one to bear in mind though
