Is there no 'engineers manual' or anything on the web?
What about a laptop builders forum or something? I think Tom's Hardware Guide used to have a forum. People there would know.

Probably wont matter soon as the one nugget of info on the web will have me holding it over the gas ring and getting it to 460 deg without frying it
