For the first time in many hundreds of ebay transaction I tried to pay by PayPal as was diverted to a 3rd party payment site (ChannelAdvisor Corporation )which then accepts your Paypal payment.

It appears to be 100% kosha but to put it mildly this method of payment did not leave me with a feeling of trust in the seller.

Reminds me of banking scam sites, they'll use (for example) hsbc.co.uk (when the real bank uses .com) and it looks identical so you wouldn't know the difference until your card gets refused
