Is there any way to retrieve sent, unread emails? Iv'e stupidly sent a quote out, forgetting to add the vat on. and i'd rather not send another email pointing out the fact.

If you are using outlook, isn't it possible to recall a message or does that only work on a LAN or when the person you sent it to is on the same server?
Anyway, if it works through POP3 then you could try going to your sent mail folder. Open the message you sent then go to 'Actions' in the menu bar then select recall?

as far as i know the outlook recall function only works on a lan with an exchange server...
