My I phone appears to be dead. My laptop is not picking it up and I cannot get phone to turn on just has a black screen.

I've tried resetting the phone etc but I get nothing, Anyone got any ideas ?

If the battery is completely flat it will take a few minutes to show anything(charging) on screen if not maybe your battery has moved inside and lost contact there are how too guides on YouTube/i fix it websites worth a try if all else fails.
