Not sure im'e doing something correct but i have loaded the software for the digidash 2 onto my computer and saved it in my documents all the
manuals and files are their, connected the USB/serial converter cable from the digidash to the computer but when i go into control panel, click on
system and security and open device manager cannot find port coms what i find is unknown device which i think is the link i need but it says there are
no drivers and when i go onto update drivers it won't update.
The drivers that have saved from the digidash disc are for Mac, Vista, and Windows 98 or XP, and my computer has
windows 7.
Does anyone know if the latest digidash software has windows 7 on it, or is there some other reason i cannot get it to work.
Help please.
Have you tried going to the manufactures website to see if they have the drivers. ?
Also where did you get the serial/USB adapter from? I gave up with mine and bought a cheap dell laptop with serial connector on it!

Hi Ben
Been on there website but can't find drivers and cable came in box fron ETB.
Perhaps an email to them then? I only have used my laptop on the megasquirt so can't help too much.
But it's obviously a driver issue.
I have phoned ETB today and his emailing me the drivers for windows 7 so hopefully when i get home from work tonight i can get drivers to work.
I will let you know tommorrow.
IIRC, Windows 7 should need no drivers. Maybe try uninstall anything thats been installed and plug it all in again.
