As per title, reason for asking:
sold an item, posted it tracked, added tracking number to the listing - eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace
RM tried to deliver, left wywo card.
Buyer contacts me for tracking number he says PO can't find it - so I send it him on return.
Buyer contacts again, claiming I havent responded - so I respond again...
This has now happened a 3rd time....
I think he is about to try it on with an ebay claim, so wondered how much history they can see.
I believe ebay blocks some messages such as those containing email addresses, websites etc. ie anything that might enable buyers and sellers to contact each other "out of ebay". This will be done by computer so if there is a word or phrase in the message it doesn't like (even if it is completely innocent" it might get blocked.
Yes... your communication is filed.
depends on if the massages involve 'extras'
Are you responding through ebays message system or via email?
Yes, its all through ebay messaging, / question and answer....
Ebay/paypal will ask for the tracking number anyway, so they can check where it is....
if you need him to contact you by email you have to be smart with how you spell out the address, instead of . write dot or dott, ebay filtered out
loads of my emails, they are so paranoid that they might miss out and shagging you up the arse they filter everything you write, even if you are
wanting an email address so its easier to send pictures or something.
big brother is watching you, but ebay is watching him, and charging him ten percent.!
