OK internet exploder 9 and quite a lot of videos/adverts on f/book ebay etc etc do not show up. Just a blank black or white box with nothing in them. The pointer does change to a hand if you hover over them. Also if you click on the u tube type they start playing ( with sound) but no picture. Moving the mouse around has varying effects of sometimes getting a picture (or part of a picture).
Anyone help??

Sounds like you are missing flash or shockwave player. Google search flash test and shockwave test, if they are not installed it will prompt you to install them

Make sure you have not got any dual screen settings on aswell.

Just a long shot but I noticed this when my TV was on. As I have my PC plugged in it auto sensed and turned on the TV output. Caused problems with some viseos on websites.
