I’m halfway through creating my webpage (my first ever) and currently have it hosted on free Lycos web space (I only put it here for testing) which puts nasty adverts up on you page.

The question is does anyone know any free/cheap web hosting that has PHP and MySQL running that I can move to?

Also, I could do with a domain name so I can have a snappier web address (a shortish .co.uk domain would be nice). Any suggestions on where to get one cheap appreciated.

Thanks for the help but NetrinoUk don’t offer PHP and MySQL till the £8.25 Super Package. Well above my limit (and package requirements).

The site is only for keeping the Parents and Friends up to date, so unless I can find something much cheaper they will just have to remember a long email address and put up with adverts on the site

The other option is to use an old pc to host it at home but I’ve not looked into how to do that yet.
