I bought some bits on ebay, paid with paypal, and its just sat there saying 'your payment is being processed through paypal'

Anyone know what this means?

I'm thinking it could be the seller hasn't set up a paypal account, but paypal is as much help as.......

Is the seller fairly new or very low feedback (specifically seller feedback)? That's usually a sign of not having a Paypal account set up to receive money yet.

I've just asked my wife (a frequent seller) and it can also mean their email address is set wrong, or the payment has been sent as an e-cheque.

Most likely your card on file is past it's sell by date and your payment as gone through as an echeque, can take up to 10 days to clear.

Yes he looks new to ebay.

Money is from paypal balance, so I'm hoping its not my end, but I'll check the e cheque.

Log into and check your own paypal account - you will also get a confirmation email when 'you've got funds'.

ive just had the same message, and the seller has 5000+ transaction, so he is not new!
