I want to post up an how to that I have done. It's in word format that has text and pictures. Does any one know how I can copy the whole thing up with out going to the hassle of hosting all the photos and adding in the links manualy ?

Without hosting stuff as you say, I would so a screen capture and save as Jpeg or what ever, then post jpeg to here.

unless anyone else has a alternative way.

Convert to pdf then link to that?
