OT - notebook keyboard

I have an old panasonic toughbook which is great for garage use megasquirt etc. It has a problem with the keyboard - works fine when cold but after about 10minutes running the s,c,g,b,.,/ keys stop working. I picked up a used keyboard off ebay for next to nothing but the problem still remains. Is there anything else I can do or should I just accept its buggered.

Have you tried an external USB Keyboard?

What happens if you press them? Number lock isn't on is it? Some laptops the letter keys can be used for numbers when its activated

Yep, what he said. That sequence of keys don't have any common theme, if it had been a group or line of keys then it could have been a weak PCB track but they seem quite random. I do wonder whether it might be a software fault, and a USB keyboard would show it.
