I had a few calls in the last couple of days Windows 8 and 8.1 PCs that the upgrades released on Tuesday had ****** if it happens to you roll back the OS to an earlier date and turn off automatic updates.

I just had the October Windows 7 security update fail twice on me. I've postponed it for a while.
