spam...and lots of it

for the last couple of weeks my daily spam intake has risen from 0 to around 30 a day,i did the usual virus check,installed "mailwasher" but to no avail.
anyone know of a good way to stop this rubbish ?.

I'm with bt and I have had the same problem for the last couple of weeks seemed to have calmed down now .

ian,are they new types,mine are solar panels,laser eye,s vauxhall cars ,no mention of you have won £1000000000000000000000 on the lottery ?.
