I have spent nearly 4 days staring at several computers that ran just fine with Adobe CS6 and now 1 won't work with Creative Cloud 2015 by that I
mean it will start up but as soon as you open Premier Pro it freezes through the startup screen
I've had 4 remote techs take my machine over and all of them left the park
Machine freezes or goes very slow
The last tech did a lot of work then when he got nowhere turned off the to more help and walked away
I am bloody livid with Adobe
The above experience was on a brand new Mac Pro 12 core twin graphics card 32Gb ram a 1Tb of flash
The second machine a Mac Pro 2012 the big silver box one crashed after loading creative cloud mid way through installing El Capitan and now I have
serious problems starting it Apple care is better but 2 phone calls and I'm looking at an engineer visit
So for the 27" iMacs are running ok we will see
It's lots of beer for me tonight just so I can get some sleep
Not got round to updating to CC2015 yet - 27" iMac on Yosemite - might wait a bit longer before I hit the button I guess!
Software upgrades are the biggest racket going. I run a small design team and we are happily running cs6. The only reason to upgrade is wappy graphic
design agencies sending artwork in the latest versions.
What really gets me cross is you add a new team member and you can only buy the latest version. Meaning the whole company has to flipping upgrade just
so they can open the newbies work.
Dont get me started on graphic designers and their wish to do artwork at 1/4size. Grrrr!
Kingster
The 27" iMacs..... So far... Are ok
Don't go El Capitan just yet
Apple care recons give it some time to big out
BUT ADOBE have f¥€>• up and there support are struggling big time
There is talk of combined litigation in US due to lost rebound from edit houses
Trouble is Adobe leaves bits of code everywhere and simply uninstalling all of CC 2015 does not get me back to where I was
On top of that we have jobs that need the tracking mask only CC has
