Wecast, chinese knock off of chromecast.

Powered by connecting to usb.
Connect to TV by hdmi lead, and then what.

Lets say want to broadcast from laptop that in connect to wifi.

For laptop to talk to wecast, either wecast connects to same wifi (cant see any way to do that), else wecast is broadcasting its own wifi yet searching for networks on laptop does not show anything that could be the wrcast wifi.

Instructions are chinglish so not useful.

Is my understanding on how to coonect to wecast correct?

Any ideas?

Cant rule out device is faulty but it does dispkay info fo 5 sec when reset.

Plenty of tutorials on youtube. If you've followed the and it's still not working, go out and buy a chromecast

Does it have an App like the Chromecast that you use to connect to, sorry but I have two chromecasts and they are great but got mine in the Black Friday deals half price.

I use an App called Allcast to stream films, TV programs Etc no problem
