Where can you get the cheapest .co.uk domain names?

I've looked at this place.

I've always used http://www.freeparking.co.uk for my .co.uk domains.

Evey domain includes 2 free pop3 accounts, email forwarding and some other stuff. They've never messed me about in the 3 years I've used them.

At streamline.net you get a free domain name and 3 months' free hosting. Of course after that time you have to start paying but they're pretty reasonable and offer excellent features if you want to make an advanced site

I use http://www.123reg.co.uk they have redirecting and other stuff too... they have recently been bought by Pipex so I assume they are good. Occasionally I have had an issue with filure to redirect but this is pretty rare, perhaps 1-2 failures per annum. 2 years ".co.uk" domain name for £6'ish - not bad. They also host and stuff but that can be a tad expensive IMO. I have used them for my other professional sites and they were brilliant...

I also use 123-reg for redirecting, but they don't offer hosting support for the technologies I need such as asp, that's why I went to Streamline.

For next month I am offering a starter package for new users.

This will consist of 100mb space and a free domain .com/.net only

I think this is a perfect package for people who want to make the step into
making a website, and will coincide with the launch of my new website, the
new site will allow all customers to view invoices buy domains submit
support tickets and upgrade accounts instantly.

So if you have never had webspace before and have some spare dosh, think
about it...

The price for all this is £10 per year payable in advance, this will get you
100mb space, free domain, fantasico and cpanel xp 2004 control panels.

Click the product menu, then choose the special offer package, it will then
take you on to a check domain screen, fill out the details etc.

I was thinking of using www.web-mania.com, as previously recommended by Surrey Dave, for webspace, and then LCN for a domain name, but 2-years of http://streamline.net/wh.php unlimited user is the same price, but with no limits.

There will be a couple of websites under subdomains, so 100mb isn't really enough.

I have used easily.co.uk for lots of domain names, and whilst maybe not the cheapest they have always worked well and been helpful with my questions.

Speak to chrisw, he's sorted me out with a couple of domains at reasonable prices..

I've bought a couple of .co.uk domains recently from 1&1, costs £3.98/2 years registration which was ideal for me as they are not going to be used immediately- I have enough work on my plate with www.smuttygifts.com (go on have a look, you know you want to! Apart from you young Phelps) and fusionsilver.co.uk
