Ok, ive just got a new phone (siemens SX1) and I went to put my 1.0gb sd card in it. It says it wants to format it. I dont have anything on it so I
thought I would, but it comes up with an error half way through.
Also, on my laptop which has an SD card built in, it recognises that there is a card in it but when I click on the icon on 'My Computer' it
comes up woth an error saying 'D: is not accessible, the network resource type is not right'.
I think the card is corrupted but ho do I go about formating it??
Adam
Right click on the card reader drive letter in My Computer and click format...floppy disk style...
Your phone may not be able to recognise cards that big, not sure on that one.
David
I tried that, but it doesnt work! I click start and it doesnt do anything. I really want to get it to work because it has an Mp3 player.

Have you got anything "dumber" that you could use to format it like a Camera or a PDA
or borrow a stand alone card reader writer to try and format it on.
Ive got a PDA but its at home and im in school. I suppose I might be able to wait untill the weekend, but any other suggestions would be very
welcome!!!

I've had two getting corrupted... no help I know, but you're not alone!
right click my computer....manage.....
disk management......
Try formating it form there????
Its not in disc management??
I tried going into command prompt and typing 'format d:', and it came up with something along the lines of 'press enter to format the
disc' and i press enter, and nothing happens??
What did you do hellfire??
