I've a DG834G wireless router. The signal strength is good in parts of the house, but as some of the wall are 3ft thick, the signal tails off,
and I lose the connection. I've been told there are range extenders and directional antenna that will make a difference. Would any of you have
any advice!
Regards, Ian.
It's going to get very expensive if you need to transmit through that much stone (guessing stone walls)
If at all possible I would suggest a cabled 'backbone' linking a two or more wireless routers in strategic locations.
failing that repeaters and larger aerials / more powerful wireless transmitters are available but will cost!
I have a DG834g at home at the moment and it barely manages to cover a small 1930's 3 bed semi so it doesn't stand a chance with your
property.
