Is it possible to grab pdf images and save as jpg?

Im sure i have read about doing this somewhere

I am in desperate need of sending some exploded parts diagrams by email in jpg format

On your keyboard you should have a 'print screen' button or something similar. Open PDF file, hit the button then go to photo editor programme, choose file/new then paste screen into the new window. Cut out the bit you want and save as jpg.

If you use Alt and print screen then it'll on copy the current top window- makes the cutting and pasting easier!

Another way is to extract the page you want and send the page as a PDF file for that you need GhostView+Ghostview. Use Adobe to print to file in PS format, then convert PS to PDF using Ghostview.

This method usually works even if the original PDF file is encrypted.
