I've got a problem with my DVD writer and my card reader.

The DVD won't actually record anything and the computer won't recognise the card reader, both were previously working fine.

Any computer experts want to try that remote assistance job?

I'm stumped!

Sounds like a conflict or maybe your MB is effed. Remove and re-install.
