Don't know if anyone can help.
I'm trying to print of some hard copies of a pdf document on a website. However the normal print icons are greyed out and even when right
clicking on the document the print option is greyed out.
Anyone any ideas? It's almost as though the document when created has been protected from being printed! Goodness knows why when its available to
all and sundry to view on screen?
Any ideas anyone? Help will be much appreciated.

James

Its pasword protected (click on 'document' pulldown then 'security' ) so you can look at it, save it but you can't change it
in any way or print it unless you know the password - I hate PDFs me

After downloading the document and opening it in Acrobat Pro it seems that it is password protected.
No idea how to get round that, but it's an interesting read!

If you have a big enough screen perhaps you could hit printscreen and paste it into word as an image? Even better if you have any ocr software you
might be able to convert it back into editable text if need be.
cheers,
Ned.
Yes, haven't fully read it. Just wanted to print it off to keep with my file at work.
Hmm, like buses or coppers, you can never find a hacker when you want one

Hi, you could try using a program such as the one here link
Ed
The free one will only do half the document...
David
thats no good then lol i'll try and find one that does the whole document
Ed
Sorted it.
Romer, you have U2U
saves and prints from firefox Linux no problem
If ever in trouble with PDF files try using Ghost View (Ghostscript is also required to make it work), its free (GPL) and has versions that will run
on just about any operating system.,
