Flushing the ARP cache.
Peteff - 15/3/06 at 03:43 PM

My BIL just rang and can't get on the internet via his Wanadoo wireless setup. He is getting a report that it cannot access his ARP cache and I read he needs to flush it but can't find a way to do it. Any ideas anybody?

from memopry just get a command prompt and type

arp flush

That should do it.

get him to right click on his wireless connection icon in the system trayand select repair, from memory one of the steps it goes through is clearing the cache. This is a known issue, this link gives more details and things to try:

I'll have a stroll down there and try a few of the remedies in a bit. Thanks all.
