John
yeah using windows XP with SP2
i'll have a go. ta!
Have u got a good spyware program too??
i think so, not sure. My computer friend put loads of stuff on so i'm guessing he did.
If it doesn't get a hit in google then its nothing important. Probably a virus which generates a random name for the .exe.
Stop it in taskmanager, do a search for it and delete it! You'll need to find out what created it too.

ok, cheers peeps
Probably.
A good tip is to google for "what is <filename>" that usually comes up with a few.
I've been finding a few viruses recently that the NTL netguard doesn't protect against.
I've been recomending, for people who want a freebie, to use the CA Anti Virus that windows recomends, its 12 months, not overly intrusive and
easy to de-install. I've not had a PC compromised that I've used it on yet (even ones that were in a mess when passed on to me to sort out)
so as far as I'm concerned thats good enough for me.
