Here's one for ya.
Has anyone had their Pc infected with this? How did you get rid as Norton Finds nothing in a scan and I've bin tryin for months? It seems harmless although it opens up new internet pages to adult contact sites whilst doing somthing else. BTW I think the tittle is right but not sure??
Any help is greatly recieved.
Cheers
john

You need adware/spyware remover....

adware is available as a free version. A few FREE versions are available from our website.

It's not a virus, it's a program

To be picky it's a small program that resets/redirects your homepage or generally messes about with your browser. An anti-virus application wont generally find it as it's not technically a virus (which no one said it was). A Spyware program or hijack program will... hence my first reply.

It generally known as a homepage redirect, generally caught from viewing P O R N websites or downloading P O R N material. Who's been a naughty boy then?

They don't always redirect to p0rn sites, I wiped one for a friend which kept changing his homepage to a sales website and it was a b@stard to get rid of. Try an online scan like the trend website's housecall .

Sounds like a browser hijack so you need to use HijackThis

You need to close all your internet browser windows and run it, it will give you a list of what your browser has been told to load etc

You've got to be careful though and only tell it to remove items you sure have been recently added that are causing the problem

Quick tutorial and download linky HERE
