Keyboard keys not right....
Jasper - 1/11/06 at 10:00 AM

So I had to reload windows on this machine and now some of the keys are wrong. I presume it set to USA or something like that, because the @ and " and the wrong way around, and if I hit the pound sign I get this: #

So how do I reset it?

Start - control panel - regional and language options surely ?

Or--- I have "EN" showing on taskbar thingy at bottom right of screen. click that and it gives option of English UK or English amarican

You only get the language bar (EN on the task bar) if you have more than one defined (for quick switching)

I think the only way to avoid having both US and UK is to set all these options to UK when you install XP - at least I havn't found a way of deleting US on my work PC
