How do I get command prompt window or DOS box up in Windows XP professional?

Start>Programs>Accs>Command Prompt

bingo - thanks gents!

Press the 'Windows Key' and 'R' together (similar fashion as you would with the 'Shift' and 'R' for an upper case)

Type 'cmd' into the resulting box.
