export as a JPEG

hi why when I export as a JPEG and open the file again its blocky?

ie it includes text and pics the text goes more blocky

I think ive tried setting the pixels and it makes no difference

it will be the export settings, need to check the quality setting

when you preview it in windows it looks fine

when you open it in adobe or export to web its blocky

whether 2.4mb or 160kb

Corel Draw has all sorts of options when you export, including resolution - set this to around 300dpi and then choose the size to want the finished pic to end up (for an avatar use ~200)

Before you exported them as .jpg files. As said, check what you are saving them at as the optimiser is probably set low and .jpg are known as a lossy format and only saves what the program deems necessary to interpret the picture. If it was already a jpeg use save as or save original.
