Haven't heard of one that does that for years now, what symptoms are you are getting?
Cheers
Alex
Presuming firstly that you have run full AV/adware/spayware/malware/rootkit scans and ruled them out.
Have you tried any hardware diags on the ports, loopback tests etc, to try and confirm whether it is a hardware based problem?
Are the symptoms the same on traditional hardware comm ports and usb ports?
What devices are you running through the ports?
Is it XP or Vista you are running?
Are there any related errors being logged in event viewer?
Are there any other system problems, slowdowns, high CPU usage, runaway processes etc?
Whew, hows that to be going on with?
Cheers
Alex
