Greetings , is there any thing better thank google earth.
Looking for somthing that will zoom in better as google does not zoom in with enough quality.
Ideally looking for a free download!

google earth is cr*p!! Only just become clear with my house to find its about 8 years out of date!!!

Pictures are good but they're at least 5 years old in my area

just looked at flashearth.com the picture of my place is exactly the same as on google earth, at least 7 years since I sold the caravan in the pic.

Remember Google don't take the images, they can only use the ones that are available to them.

I should think they all use the same pictures - the cost to generate them must be pretty massive. They are taken by planes flying overhead at relatively low speed and low height, and it has to be done on a clear day.

If you want a high resolution aerial picture of your own house you can commission one, but it will not be Locost

Multi map images are excellent, plus you can overlay a map on them. By comparison Google Earth is very poor.

That explains a lot, i had assumed they were satellite images so wondered why the two ends of a bridge were at such different angles! Obviously a lower view.
