Nick,
If you have photo editing software, do what omega 24 v6 says, but paste pic into there and save as a jpg file. Attach that to the email.
Pushing the "PrtScn" button copies an image of the whole screen to the clipboard.

there should be a button on your keyboard with 'print screen' on it. press it and the image of the screen will be held in memory to paste into an artwork programme or whatever.
Right click on image and choose "Save Image As" works for me.
Ivan, he wants the whole screen, not just an image.
Thanks donut that worked, super quick replys too.
Thank you all
Nick
Here's a neat free program that will let you take a snap of all or part of the screen and resize it conveniently to send in an email (or embed in
a Word document)

If you hold down ALT and press print screen you only get the window that is active. This may have been already suggested but I am a bit drunk!!
Press ALT + PRINT SCREEN at the same time to only capture the active window
